Ingredients
- 1kg Cow leg
- 2 seasoning cubes
- 1/2 cup palm oil
- Chilli pepper to taste
- Chopped utazi leaf(as desired)
- 1 tsp ground ehuru seeds
- 1/4 cup ground crayfish
- 1/2tsp ground potash
- 1/4 cup ugba (oil bean), sliced

Directions
- Season the cow tail properly and cook till it is soft and you have a rich stock,(it's faster with a pressure cooker)
- In a pot, make a paste with the ground potash using the palm oil
- Place on heat and stir
- Add the onions, pepper, seasoning cubes and crayfish
- Pour in the cooked cow leg with little stock
- Cook for about 5minutes
- Add more stock if it is too dry
- Add the ugba and the ground ehuru seeds
- Lower the heat, taste for salt
- Allow the flavour to blend for about a minute and serve
- Nkwobi is usually served in a serving mortar
- Garnish with chopped Utazi leaves and onions
