Ingredients
- 500g of Sliced Meat (ram, cow or chicken)
- 1/2 cup Suya Spice (Yaji powder), if you have the already prepared one
- 1/4 cup Groundnut Oil for grilling
Suya Marinade
- 1 tbsp of grated Ginger
- 1/2 tbsp of grated Garlic
- 1 medium size Onion
- 1 tsp ground Scotch Bonnet Pepper
- 1 tsp Cayenne Pepper
- 1 Seasoning cube
- 1/8 cup ground roasted peanut
- A dash of salt
- Blend all the ingredients together
Garnishing (optional)
- 1 small size Onion, sliced
- 1 Tomato, sliced
- Handful of Lettuce, largely chopped
- Handful of Cabbage, sliced
- 3 slices of Cucumber

Directions
- Cut the meat into medium size chunks
- Put in a bowl or tray and marinade in the Suya spice or the peanut mix you prepared
- Leave for about 30 minutes
- Place over the grill, drizzle groundnut oil over it as it cooks if necessary
- Turn the sides of the meat until it is light brown, succulent and cooked
- Grilling may take about 15 - 20 minutes
- Serve with vegetables like tomatoes, onions, lettuce, cucumber or cabbage
