Ingredients

  • 500g of Sliced Meat (ram, cow or chicken)
  • 1/2 cup Suya Spice (Yaji powder), if you have the already prepared one
  • 1/4 cup Groundnut Oil for grilling

Suya Marinade

  • 1 tbsp of grated Ginger
  • 1/2 tbsp of grated Garlic
  • 1 medium size Onion
  • 1 tsp ground Scotch Bonnet Pepper
  • 1 tsp Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 Seasoning cube
  • 1/8 cup ground roasted peanut
  • A dash of salt
  • Blend all the ingredients together 

Garnishing (optional)

  • 1 small size Onion, sliced
  • 1 Tomato, sliced
  • Handful of Lettuce, largely chopped
  • Handful of Cabbage, sliced
  • 3 slices of Cucumber
