Ingredients
- 4 rings of yam
- A pinch of salt to taste
- Vegetable oil for deep frying
- Prepare the ingredients for sauce of your choice

Directions
- Peel the back of the yam rings
- Slice the yam rings into desired size
- Sprinkle salt on the sliced yam
- Put the vegetable oil in a pan and place on heat
- Put the sliced yam into the heated oil and fry allowing sufficient space for turning over
- When it is cooked, remove from oil and drain in a strainer
- Prepare the sauce
- Serve the fried yam as desired
